Metro: Last Light is an FPS (First Person Shooter) videogame developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver. This title is available for PlayStation 3, Windows PC, Mac OS, Xbox 360 and Linux systems. Last Light is the direct sequel to Metro 2033, based on the fiction by Dimitry Glukhovsky. This release fuses aspects of action titles with survival horror traits to create the same oppressive atmosphere that we saw in the first title once again.
Metro: Last Light focuses on action set in post-apocalyptic of Moscow, Russia
Unlike the first installment of the saga, Metro: Last Light focuses on action set in post-apocalyptic Moscow, Russia. There is no trace of civilization, except for the dark creatures that you will have to face. You will be equipped with a gas mask and an anti-radiation suit as you move through the ruins. This title retains the same trading system as the original, using ammunition as a currency to purchase first necessity items.
The few survivors of a nuclear attack on Moscow have retreated to the underground, which is the only “safe” place to hide, as the mysterious “dark ones” and other mutants inhabit the irradiated streets above. You play the role of Artyom, a ranger on a quest to find a survivor from the destruction of the dark creatures in 2033. In your journey you will face flesh-gobbling mutants, neo-Stalinists and what is worst, a neo-Nazi faction known as the Fourth Reich.
Metro: Last Light can be classified as a tunnel shooter, as you will go from one encounter to the next, where you are free to choose between sneaking your way past or fighting against the current enemy. Even though the game lacks of originality in some points, it does work on the whole. There are some moments where the forward flow pauses so that you can find a mechanism to open a gate or take a ride in a rail-car.
The combat is pretty satisfying in Metro: Last Light. Even though the mutants are not the most thrilling opponents, they have strength in numbers. However, human enemies are surprisingly convincing. They take cover and move to flank you, making the most of every situation. Luckily for you, Last Light gives you the opportunity to avoid combat and make your way using stealth.

Metro: Last Light is an interesting proposal within the world of FPS that still committed mechanics that deviate from the classic shooter predominant use today. Direct sequel to Metro 2033, inherits the plot and follows the story of Artyom exquisitely: narrative and developments with unexpected twists, surprises and some other decision engages the player from the outset. The immersion into the world Last Light is enormous thanks to a brilliant artistic and technical, detailed and comprehensive at all levels section. In addition, items such as first aid kits, gas masks and their loads or the use of light help immerse yourself in this post apocalyptic world.
It is the playable section makes this title is a good game but not an excellent proposal. Stealth sequences maintain the essence of the franchise, with possibilities to tackle levels in various ways unseen, silently killing or going like a bull in a china shop. Of course, there are many and serious errors IA can tarnish the experience in this regard. In addition, the phases before mutant enemies are simplistic and uninspired, and there and quite. It is well balanced between each other, but being resolved these worse than stealth, the end result is not as bright as can be expected. As against, which is a wise narrative level also limits our playable some possibilities: the title is sometimes excessively guided and closed with constant scripts and only one possible way. Adventure satisfactory overall, with brilliant detail and tremendous technical section, but little ambitious as what moments that could have exploded even more the strengths of this formula.
- The argument and development of events
- Stealth phases offer various possibilities to deal
- Moments guided without too much to do outside of the main plot

Have you ever experienced a nuclear attack and do you know how bad it is can you imagine it even makes people to become disabled I remember there was some nuclear that was thrown to japan and it has some very terrible and bad effects. Now this game embraces the same concepts and all that happens is that there is a nuclear explosion and then because it is on the ground you have to seek some shelter and some protection underground and because there are some creatures that live here you have to fight with them so that you can share theier habitat and they are strongly opposing that because to them you are their enemies
The game has a very great mission and storyline that you have to follow and complete the game
There are very many enemies to defeat
Take control of the underground
The game play is awesome because you have just come from a nuclear attack and you are seeking shelter from underground.
- there are very many wepaons to fight the unerground enemies
- the game looks like it is very real
- some of the enemies were very hard to kill
METRO LAST LIGHT: The post apocalyptic situation that we don't want to live.

Game developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver introduce us to a post apocalyptic game inspired on the novel Metro 2033 and his universe where we will be forced to kill mutants and hostile humans.
It is a single player first person shooter where the most part of the game we will play in the metro but sometimes we go above ground and see breathtaking views of Moscow. We are in a post apocalyptic game so we must be careful with the ammo and sometimes it can be hard not to run out of ammo on your main gun and if you find a good gun don’t drop it it will be really difficult to find another as good.
This game is to go slowly and appreciate all the details that it haves. The story is quite good and impressive. Metro Last Light also got some moments that you will be really tense and scared for what is going to happen next.
- It gots impressive situations and enviroments
- You feel like a survivor
- Metro don't gots multiplayer or coop
